Area’s Newest Infrastructure
Infrastructure has steadily improved over the years, with newly paved roads, airport, and a brand-new ferry terminal. Telecommunications have also advanced, with Los Delfines now offering fibre optic internet, making it perfect for those who can live and work remotely!
Future Marina Tambor
The Playa Tambor Marina Project has been in the works for several years and is anticipated to begin shortly. This project will add 300 moorings and aims to enhance coastal infrastructure, fostering economic growth and tourism in the Tambor area, all while prioritizing environmental sustainability.
Blue Zones of the World
According to National Geographic, there are 5 regions in the world with the highest number of Centenarians (people who live to be over the age of 100). Costa Rica is home to one of these ‘Blue Zones’, and it happens to be right within our very own Nicoya Peninsula, which is home to the Los Delfines community.
Cabo Blanco National Park
Cabo Blanco is the country’s first protected nature reserve, offering stunning coastal views and diverse wildlife within its pristine tropical forests. Visitors can explore its hiking trails, observe rare bird species, and enjoy the tranquility of its secluded beaches.
Our Peaceful Bay

Turtle Rescue Program
The Tambor Bay Turtle program aims to protect turtle populations and nests on Tambor Beach. When the time comes and the baby turtles begin to hatch, the Tambor community comes together to ensure their safe release. Volunteers are always welcomed to join in this effort!

Emergency response infrastructure, fire, ambulance, and police services are all located within 10-15 minutes of Los Delfines. Alternatively, you can purchase subscription-based private medical services, providing top-of-the-line care at extremely affordable costs.
